EV?I think i read somewhere the previous owner, before Copart, bought it. The car had sentimental value, or was owned from new, or something..
I'm sure it was on one of the FB groups.
The car infront of the E86 caught fire while parked up.![]()
Not enough pence unfortunately. It ended up being way over my budget which I thought was reasonable for a damaged car.How many pence was your budget?

I could have quite easily paid less for a 160k miles car but that's not the point for me. I wanted a project that I could take pride in documenting, repairing and saving one.
How much would all of you lot have paid for a car in that condition?
12 pence including VAT.How much would all of you lot have paid for a car in that condition?
Interior looked clean. My suspicions were correct that the car was a victim of another vehicle fire therefore it has only melted. Pictures on copart show it running there is not even any bulb warning lights on so the ECU clearly thinks the headlights still work.Wow,
Crikey sounds like it was overpriced then…
Personally id be thinking around £1-1.5k, but less if the interior is smoke damaged as you’ll never shift the smell.
What’s your thinking on price Cv6 …?
I was planning on fixing it if I won it for sensible money and documenting it. Would that still be buyer beware?Ouch, that’s big money. Interested to see how much it is resold for or if stripped for parts.
Do you know the reg and vin. Buyer beware if it’s fixed up.
