Wanted Z4M Parts

Any further updates on this? Wanted to see if you have got it on the road yet!

Hats off to you, top effort - and to say you could be driving an M for around £10k isn't bad going.

Will have a picture on all 4 wheels hopefully the weekend. Been waiting on CORRECT front suspension legs for the front, had a nightmare but I'm getting there. Then it will be prepared for the body shop. Front bumper, bonnet and wings have been given to specialists to work their magic.

Yep, mechanical is now done apart from 4 wheel alignment. Getting her ready to be panelled up and now having a custom cold air induction kit prefabricated from stainless steel. As long as the suspension set up and engine is oem the rest can be custom made. It Makes under the bonnet Look pretty but works how BMW intended :). Christmas is my goal!!!! That will be 6 months from when the car was purchased, not bad considering I've replace everything from A post forward

Devastated!!!!! Some jealous bastard has nicked my rad pack and pad carriers. Booked in the body shop end of the month.
Taking hits with this project all the time....... Nothing or no one will stop me!!!!! I will owe the newest M out there

Stale mate about parts with the garage now over. New parts sourced and the rest of the build excluding body work is FREE!!

Wanted: 1x front M wheel in any condition if anyone has one.

Only a few minor parts to get now. Set of discs, pads and wheel arch liner. Starting to look like a car with xenons now mounted

You just missed some discs and pads on eBay.. £130 ish.. Second hand but loads of life in them..

Around £450 new..

Are arch liners same as other Z's or are them M specific ?

Hard to come across a set of CSL discs so I'm gonna buy new £180 each oem. E46 m3 ones don't fit, smaller and don't clear caliper mount.

Think the M liner has a window in the front of it for air flow duct. Not too sure, maybe a dealer jobby

Can't see that the liner will be any different, well at least non from the 'window' as you describe it. I and many others have fitted ///M front ends on non ///M's.
All you do is remove an inspection panel on a non ///M and fit the duct instead into the resulting hole.

Yep..

Where are the discs £360 a pair ?

The arch liners are the same. I know this as I have an m front bumper on my 3.0i

You just need to attach the brake duct where the inspection cover would usually go.

A company called alum autos, birmingham for the discs. they quoted £180 each including vat and only 1 company make then.

Nice one for the info on wheel arch liner lads

Make sure you are buying the correct discs.....

I have seen aftermarket discs that dont have the cross drills and arent floating.... Although they are 345mm.

I think it was ATE that made the OEM discs..

These are vented and drilled. Identical to the originals I have on the car. I'm careful with parts for this project. The car has to handle, brake and look as the people at BMWs M division intended

Excellent ..

Just make sure they are 2 piece..

ATE are OEM.... Zimmerman do good aftermarket option

Thanx for the help dude. I'll get some pics on in the next week, showing repaired aluminium bonnet (by c&s tech weld, aston birmingham), braided power steering pipes (Norton hydraulics, birmingham) and car with xenons and rad packs mounted.

Waiting on my range rover 20" stormer wheels to be refurbed so I can try them on the car. Nice Christmas present from my better half lol. She's nearly fit for the body shop now :D
