Hello. I am looking to buy 3.0si in manual between 2006 and 2009. I prefer darker tones paint (midnightblue, carbonblack, rubyblack, stratusgray, montegoblue, monacoblue or similiar individual color) Need to have black piano trim and inside amarona, caramel or champagner. I can consider also black out and red inside.

Essential features:
- heated seats with eletric control adjustment
- m sport seats
- m sport steering wheel with media control
- rear parking assistance

I would prefer also this optional features: automatic lights, wippers, xenon lights, cruise controll, hifi speakers upgrade.

Please contact my by email address ([email protected]) or leave a message for me with offers.

Thank you

Well if you were after a coupe then your perfect car is listed only 3 down from your original posting.

Otherwise keep checking the for sale section to see what cars become available.

What sort of money are you looking to spend?

Exactly.... Firstly i couldnt even breath when I seen it first time... Then I noticed that 'Coupe'

£10 000

I am checking pistonheads, gumtree, ebay and autotrader.. Is there anything else?

I love that coupe! If it was a roadster I would have it. Such a perfect combination.

I think you'll find that most roadsters will go into hiding now until the spring next year when they will demand more money.

Although you might pay a little more then, you will have more choice.
You will get a good, low mileage example for £10,000 I would have thought.

You seem to be checking the majority of places. Autotrader and eBay being the most likely.

Wait it out, the right car will come along!

Good luck with your search - you may have to be a little more flexible in your specification as the 3.0si is quite rare. They are also demanding quite high money. It took me 8 months to find my 2008 3.0si at my price point, via BMW and had to compromise on colour (Stratus Grey). My 3.0si sport came with all your essential features including reversing assist, no xenons, no cruise, no high fi upgrade.

Good luck with your search - you will love the 3.0si

Thank you all guys for warm welcoming.

Well 8 months to wait  i wont last that long :driving:

I wouldn't discount the 2.5si. I had one and it will keep a 3.0si keep up with a 3.0si under most conditions.

Same engine, just slightly lesser spec as standard. Elec seats, headlamp washers and chrome headlights from memory.

As above though you might have to flex on your spec though. The piano black trim could easily be sorted later for one, cruise control can be retrofitted for around £100 etc...

Love that caramel leather, but it really is ultra rare. Keep looking and the right car will show up - 2 years on I still love mine.

That leather (as said) is super rare and you will have to compromise on some of the bits.

I have a 2.5Si and it's great! Piano black with hife upgrade.
Had the roof down on the way to work this morning and loved it.

It depends how long you are prepared to search for the right car at the right price (I already had a Zed so it was easier for me to be patient).

The one you have here is fair mileage for the year (though high for the money) but in my mind over- priced for a 2006 Zed (as I said they are asking top money for the 3.0si). It has your preferred interior and colour combination (which I think will be difficult to find) and some service history (I would expect BMW full service history at this price point for a 2006 - the 3.0si has surprisingly long service intervals and so check as you may find it has little servicing). So unless it has a long list of such things as new quality tyres, recent brakes and pads, maybe some suspension bush work and Inpection 2 completed I wouldn't offer 9K.

If you go see the Zed and it looks good to you then I would throw in a cheeky offer - it's the wrong time to be selling large engine convertibles and you never know.

But it depends how much you want to get into a Zed - I think dealers put a high price on the Zed (especially the 3.0si as it is the most powerful version which avoids the higher running costs of the ///M version). They also look fabulous and I'm sure they hope that someone will fall in love with the looks of the Zed and consequently price it high. If you're going to keep it then it might be worth paying more for the Zed you want - I stuck to a price point and had to wait to get a 2008 but as previously mentioned not the colour I would have chosen (though I'm growing to love it, it's the driving experience I was after as well as looks).

I can appreciate your frustration but why not wait and see if a forum Zed well cherished and cared for with known history comes up - it's not really the season for open top cars. I use mine all year though - and with the roof down! So that's no help to you!

Hi, thinking of selling my 2007 3.0SI saphire black, piano black dash, heated memory red sports seats, M mutifunction steering wheel, new roof motor in January 2014, full BMW service history and 200 miles to go to service 2, at present has done 70260 miles which I would consider lowish mileage, only thing missing is the rear parking sensors. I am the second owner bought it from BMW dealership.
Do not really want to part with it but just retired and my wife has a back problem that has had me renting saloons for two months so may need to consider something more comfortable and economic.
If you are interested I am in Northumberland, PM me, not advertised anywhere yet, as I said just thinking about it at present.

Hi thanks for advice. It is really helpful. My idea is to keep this car for no longer then one year. But who knows I might fall in love :p I might spend little bit more if there is something that I will really like.
Theres is one model with my color combination but price is 11.950. Car is 2008/07 and have done only around 22 000 miles.
Is it normal to selling this car with such a low mileage? 6 years old car and only 20k? I heard when you not driving regulary this z4 it is not good. Should I be worry or its ok?

It is just 50mins driving from Oxford. I will probably go there saturday anyway and testdrive it so I can compare with 2.5si testdrive I did last weekend. I am happy to tray cheeky offer :) I always do. You have got nothing to loose
I've got millions question... To you guys once I buy one :poke:

Rare colour, don't think I've ever seen a midnight blue 3.0si before. Great interior but then I would say that! Seems odd that the owner spent circa £3k on extended leather but didn't bother with nav or xenons.
