I'll delete when I've found a car πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ :driving:

Hello people new to the forum I have been looking for a BMW Z4 coupe for about a month or so now, have viewed a few but been disappointed with the condition and have a one or two on my list to look at again. I had an e86 si sports a few years ago so that is the vehicle I am really after, ideally to be under 100,000 miles and must be a MANUAL not overly fussed about colour or interior color but needs to be really tidy paint and chassis with no rust, bad resprays or damage.

basically a solid nice honest well loved up together car.

Not here to lowball anyone a fair car at a fair price πŸ‘πŸΌ

SEND ME A PM

If you are thinking of selling one please contact me asap as I am looking to purchase as soon as possible.
Have the cash waiting.
Many thanks
Steve

Oh and my I'm based near Spalding Peterborough

I want a nice clean well loved car with nice paint nice interior and minimal underbody rust.

Willing to pay a little more for a well maintained example, I've had one before that was stunning and regret selling it now!

Please get in contact as willing to travel to view and want one in the next few weeks/months

Cheers

I am in Spalding! :D
The only E86 I have seen around here is a black Si that lives somewhere along the Pinchbeck Road but only comes out in good weather.

A manual Sport Coupe is an excellent choice Steve!

Good luck finding the right one.

Just a thought but you might save a few quid buying one that has just gone over the 100K mark, whereas you'll probably lose a bit if you take it past that milestone in your ownership as so many UK buyers see it as end of life.

I've had a couple of higher mileage 3 Series with the same N52 engine and both still performed brilliantly. My current 330i daily has done 128K now.

Well if nothing else it may give you more to choose from given that the youngest of them were built almost 17 years ago!

I got a pretty good deal on my 330i when I bought it with 107K miles. :)

I agree with Mr Tidy regarding not setting sub 100k miles as a must have. These cars/engines are good for high miles and parts (Excluding rear quarter panels) are readily available. I would focus on body rust and maintenance history as this is most important.

Hi Steve,
Nice to meet you. You're timing is perfect as I've just decided (in my mind!) that I'm going to let my Z4 Coupe Si Sport go due to lack of use over the last couple of years. Has done 1,000 miles since I bought it 2 years ago.
It's Montego blue with white ivory interior (rare combo), 91,000 miles, manual, and in very good shape. No mods.
Based in West Midlands.
Do you want to drop me a private message and we can organise a call?
(I'm new to the group here, although been stalking the forums for quite a while, so hopefully this message makes it through ok!)
Thanks
Richard

Sounds good but I can't seem to pm you as you need 3 posts I believe ?

Steve

Actually think it sent you will have to check your pm as I'm new too lol

Steve I think new members can receive PMs, but not send them so you'd need to include some contact details.

We made contact buddy but thanks for the heads up πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
Appreciate your help so far and advice buddy

Patience..
The good ones don't come along too often, but then like buses or policeman, many tend to arrive at once.
