WANTED: hard top in Sapphire Black for E85 2003 Z4

BMW dealers and BMW UK definitely £1,800 plus vat. Any cheaper would have been showroom demo models after BMW have had them in stock on show for a year.

Now, forget it.

i just picked up a BSM hardtop for 700 quid, it was perfect as well...... haggle hard and you'll get them, i can only see these going up in value now theyre discontinued.....

Then again Webasto must still have the moulds, and with the EU requirement to maintain spares for ten years....... :?

I'm keeping an eye out on eBay and Auto Trader for somebody selling a Sapphire black Z4 with hard top, I'll then phone them and ask if they want to sell the top for £700, after all, I can't imagine you could ask £700 more for the car because it has one. Most people buying a Z4 would be because they are convertible.

really.......??? all spares for the top through bmw are discontinued.... i also tried to get a second set of side covers for the lock from webasto themselves, they also said these are unavailable.
real oem shows hardtop and hardtop parts as "ended" i couldnt even get the boot lid stoppers from bmw!! i dont think that law is in place for accessories.

no most people would sell the car on and hardtop seperatly to earn alittle extra pocket money.....

The Munich BMW dealer still has them for 900 Euro. They have a shop on eBay in Germany.

From what I've heard, they are delicate anyway, when taking them off, if they get dropped, even slightly, on one of the corners, they are screwed.

bmw cleared out stocks of pre-painted ones, all they will stock now are primed tops and when a order comes in they will paint to suit

A coupe owner in the making :)

Actually, I must admit I do like the new Z4 with the metal folding roof. I'll have to check out how much boot space is actually left when that metal hood is down.
