WANTED: hard top in Sapphire Black for E85 shape 2003 model Z4

I'm based in St.Neots, Cambridgeshire, UK.

Anybody have one, give me a shout via pm with your contact number.
 
There's one on eBay - but bad time of year to buy as you will pay top $ compared to the summer months

Yeah, I saw the one on eBay, but he is in Northumberland and he won't post, don't fancy a 680 mile round trip so that has to be left.

Kin hell - second that! NO way would I send or receive a hardtop by ANY courier.

Can't you arrange a halfway meet? His price is a bit high for a black 'un to be frank.
 
I didn't think the price was high considering they cost £2,200 plus vat new. This is under half price.

I didn't want to go and collect it as my car is a Z4 of course and there is no room in it for the hard top. This might sound strange and you will all say, just fit the roof dude. But BMW told me minor adjustments have to be made to every Z4, this only has to be done once.

What should I expect to pay for a used Sapphire black one if £950 is too high??
 
i would say 950 is high,,,, wont mention the one that went for 700 on here recently :fuelfire: ...... the guy has re listed that one over and over again since september when i started looking and he wont budge on the price,, shame as its 5 miles from me.... couriers wont carry them even if they are in the original package which i dont expect it will be.....
 
£950 for a 2nd hand is definitely too high! my brand new one from dealer was less than that :P which should be ready for collection next week :thumbsup:

I'd say thats complete bollocks.....and even if it is sometimes the case, the adjustments are very minor. Certainly won't do any harm sticking it on the car to drive home.

I'd say around £800 or so for the less common colours is about right in my experience, simply because there are fewer buyers out there, but seen black ones go as low as 650.....its the silver and sterling grey ones that seem to go for the most usually.

by that answer I can only assume you are still looking? do you want me to source one for you? let me know your budget and colour preferences.
 
Z4, what dealer is selling them cheaper than £900??? I phoned Elms in Bedford and Murketts in huntingdon, both said £2,000 so I figured that is the dealer price; end of?

Yes, I'm still looking. Black Saphire is my car colour and it is a 2003 model; think that is E85, but not sure as I'm not clued up with BMW E numbers.

If anyone can find one or point me to one that is within 100 miles of St.Neots, Cambridgeshire, PE19 I'd be truly grateful. It has to be stunning condition though as my car is immaculate.

I think BMW were recently sell certain hardtop colours around the £800 mark

Ps any z4 hardtop will fit your car/year

When you say BMW UK, do you mean the HO, where is that? Do you have a name, contact number so I can go directly to where you went, this information will save me a zillion phone calls and a ton of detective work.
 
sadly they are no longer available at that price.

contact your dealer or BMW direct (they have a shop on ebay) and enquire.
