That'll be being the technical term for a hoon, that'll be... :wink:Lynchy said:"Spirited "driving....what's that?
Well JE does prefer it if the bugs bounce off as it means less cleaning :wink:pvr said:Getting to a speed where the mosquitos get splashed on your windscreen and not just get a headache when they hit the screen ….

Nice lie-in for Ruby and Mike...
Strange, I've had to explain something similar to Cindy i.e. a 9:15 meet time doesn't mean setting the alarm for 9 and having 2 mugs of tea before heading for the shower :lol:Bing said:Just remember Ruby, you need to be there by 10, not leave home at that time![]()
This is for Saturday - at least those of that are going down on the Saturday but taking a bit of a detour for a hoon through the Cotswolds on the wayAngelus666 said:Just so I'm clear, is this for the timing for the Sunday or Saturday meet? Is anyone still planning on going over on Saturday and meeting in Bristol for Sunday morning?
Sorry if I've lost track of the thread here.

Bing said:To be honest, some help planning a route from the M40 down towards Bristol through the Cotswalds would be useful, as I can choose roads (and Perry has already), but I don't know if they will be a crap choice, especially on a Saturday afternoon... And if you want to pitch up too that would be ace![]()

From the reviews, the George Inn, the pub attached to Millingbrook Lodge, does nice food and keeps a very good cellar - so we shouldn't have to stagger too far :icb:Number5 said:If you're staying at The Milling brook lodge, you wont really want to go back over the bridge to Bristol.
You're out in the Country fellas so will probably have to settle for a good pub and a quiet meal !

Yep, agreed. I'll have a think about this and probably change to there.
That would be my plan. Choose a good meal, find a nice Ale and stay put for the night in The George next door.PerryGunn said:From the reviews, the George Inn, the pub attached to Millingbrook Lodge, does nice food and keeps a very good cellar - so we shouldn't have to stagger too far :icb:Number5 said:If you're staying at The Milling brook lodge, you wont really want to go back over the bridge to Bristol.
