VT2 upgrade kit started :-)

If all you want is a boost gauge I`d get a digital one from ebay mate (they`ll be as accurate as far more expensive ones and are very, very easy to fit), £30-50 and you`ll need to buy some 3mm vaccum piping (about 1-1.5m) and a little 3mm I.D. T piece to split the OEM vaccum line running off the fuel rail.

I don`t have the M3 anymore Beedub, I have a std power Z4M. I did speak to Simpson this week about a V10 `tho.

guys, i wanted some really subtle badges............. after much trawling and searching all my old car mags, i came across the perfect supercharger badges, very small, very discreet but lovely lettering style, the badges are from the old vw g60 and rallaye g ladder charged models, the ess tuning badge came with the supercharger. The ess tuning badge will be going the at the rear on the opposite side of the ///M badge, each s/c badge will go under the ///M sign on each wing, here my piss poor macro shot. I ordered these before i got my ess kit, lol!!

I'd keep it as stealth as possible but to each their own. You also need to update your signature dude. :D

How big are the 'Supercharged' & 'ESS tuning' badges in relation to the Z4M badge on the boot.

I'd be tempted to leave the side ones alone and if the sizes match up, simply (and subtly) put them underneath the Z4M badge.

If you're putting the supercharged ones on you might as well put the ESS too. I do think that with the M one's it going to be a bit of a badge overload though!

or only have 1 red s/c badge on the rear in the space of the drivers side, leaving all the other stock ones.

I would keep it stealth, although if the 'supercharged' badge is small enough, I might be tempted to use one on the boot lid.
Have you considered taking off the '///M' badges in favour of 'supercharged' on each wing, and 'ESS Tuning' on the boot lid?

the ess badge is quite big but the red ones are very small and very subtle, about the same size as the ///m badge

Honest opinion. Those badges would be fine on a car that needed them. The Z4M Coupe doesnt need them, they would just make the car look like it belongs in a Maccy D's car park. Just leave it as standard and giggle to yourself when you wave goodbye to 911's etc. Mucho respect for doing this conversion but less is definitley more in this case.

I Think you could find a better supercharged badge.

something like that maybe? or you could have one made.

if i did put one on it would just be a 'supercharged' one centered below the m badge on the boot

I too wouldn't put any obvious badges to give away what's in the bonnet, better left stealth IMO.

Have you considered something subtle like....//M with a small "s" in red just above the M.

Ok I've placed one badge under the m sign at the back, it looks perfect, just the right size and very cool, classy but let's people no. The other 2 I've left off, I'll use the other red one as a backup but the large metal ess badge isn't going on. If anyone wants the ess badge let me no n I'll send it free of charge to a forum member.

Have you got a pic of the badge on the car.

The ESS badge might look quite cool under the bonnet somewhere. under the BMW badge at the front of the engine bay or something?

ill take a pic i abit, ive definatly decided to leave the ESS badge off, the car does already have to many badges so im very happy with the one single badge under the ///M sign, the other red one ill use inside the car somewhere probably on the ash tray lid or something, but the ESS, ill send it to anyone that wants it free charge.

Hey Beedub - just catching up with the thread. Outcome looks really impressive

I know badges are just a distraction to the real fun of the performance, but did you ever see how former member Gary did his using just a simple red 'S' Looke dneat and subtle.
