????? not one dealer in Germany???? wtf????

Any quality mechanic can install our supercharger kits. They are designed to be easy to install and the software is done by us :)

How does it FEEL comapred to your GTR? I bet the low down driving position and firm ride make it a little bit more, edgy.
I always think of the GTR as a runaway galloper (is that a word?) rather than anything nimble just because of its size.

the gtr is faster, it has cobb access port, exhaust ,600bhp, but the gtr feels big and heavy, the gtr is a very very expensive car to run, infact it costs about 8x more to run than the z4m, im currently in the process of doing a deal with my dad so it'll still be in the family, id love to hold onto it but the z4m is as much fun, the gtr is a pure brute, but i cant use it in the way i want, i take it to the track and it transmission overheats, nissan did give me a supercool GTR helmet tho, lol, thats why i havent really posted up pics as i knew it was going................... maybe when i earn more but right now my charged z4m offers 100% of the fun, on a tight track like curborough is as fast, and massively cheaper running costs...... business isnt going all to well really and its not offering me enough smiles to carry on paying crazy money. the z4m tho for me is a keeper. the best car ive ever owned, and the most reliable!!

on a brighter note, ive had an email from some guy who works for bmw mag, he would like to do a feature of the car after seeing the pistonheads thread..........

 Great to hear!!!

cant wait to see the article if you do it. are you going to go for it?

we should make a meet of it for some real fun!

there will be at least 1 piston ring forming the gas seal between the ocmpressor and the bearing housing... so that should need a few runs to bed in... doesnt take long tho...

i was told to run in for around 200-300 miles, at least it got a really good first drive, 85 miles of mixed high speed, low speed driving, some nice bursts of higher revs, but plenty of 6th gear 3-5000 rpms, ive got about another 200 miles, or so, bear in mind the supercharger is on its running in oil also, i need to swap to the proper stuff around 2500 miles which i doubt i will hit this year. I spent some more time with the car yesterday, idle with the maf removed is now digitally smooth, the car is just a complete animal, it can break traction in 2nd easily, i can actually feel the tires being smudged into the tarmac. the charger itself is definatly near silent but at low speeds it makes a fabulous whistle type noise, accompanied by a blow off valve gentle whooooossshhh, at high revs the induction noise is pretty much the business. i cant stop popping out to have a peek in the engine bay.. im really struggling to work out what to do boost gauge wise, im not to keen on the ash tray mount kit, but really need to work out what to do to monitor boost and AFRs.................

oh man. I admit i'm really jalouse and happy for you. I'll try to give it a shot next year. This year building a house LOT of money..... thank u women AAAAARRRRGGGGG ;)

Next i'l give it a shot. Ireally dont think i'll need more then 440hp 500maybe a little to much for that car imo. dont know.

Rom3n u say any serious dmechanic would get it done. But u know even a BMW garage i wouldnt trust :)

Beedub at 5 PSi I wouldn`t worry too much about an AFR gauge it`ll just make you paranoid. It`s mapped properly from the off and any noticeable change will be obvious in the running characteristics. If you were sitting at 8K rpm all day in 6th it would be more important but with the bigger injectors only having to keep up with 5 PSi, they`re running at a very low duty cycle.

A boost gauge is nice to have but if I was doing it all again I`d fit something simple out of sight with a peak recall setting on it as the only thing its good for really is checking you don`t have a boost leak. Your only actually in boost when hard, hard on the throttle above 5K rpm anyway, so any other time (ie constant throttle or off the throttle its showing 0 boost or in vaccum).

Glad your enjoying it, get some runs against a std car when you get chance. When I went to the 460HP level I gained just over 1 sec in the 0-100mph sprint, be interesting to see how the Z4 responds being lighter than my old M3 vert.

ok ill leave the afr gauge, but i definatly need/want a boost gauge, mike i know you have a big power m3 so whats the best type of boost gauge in your opinion? i think i heard you mention plx which shows 3 readings?
