Anyone got an opinion or an answer to the design of these tyres. I know they work because they're well reviewed here and elswhere. Probably gonna go for these as replacements for my runflats and was reading up on these a few weeks back. Big discussion here http://www.tyresmoke.net/forum/general-cars/105515-vredestein-sessanta-tyres.html.
They are a strange design and you would of thought that either the offside or nearside in this pic are incorrect but apparently not.
Still can't get my head around them. It's almost like having 2 different brand tyres on the same axle. If having the pointy bit of the main tread is correct by design on the n/s then you'd of thought that the o/s should have the pointy bit facing forward as well.
Someone on the tyresmoke thread was corresponding with someone at Vredestein re this but the thread fizzled out.
A couple of guys on here have commented that they're noisy. Any noisier than the Falkens?
