Just a brief entry re Vines in Guildford.
I recently bought my Z4M Roadster there and I have to say it was a very pleasant experience (well, apart from paying
).
I hate car sales people and dealers in general but they ticked all the boxes and I bought the car !
I had looked at a number of cars at a number of dealers and all the sales people were playing their usual games - but none of this with Vines ... it was all open and straightforward.
Polite, not at all pushy, a good example of the car I was looking for and well presented ... none of this 'that will be sorted before you buy it' stuff (which amazingly I have had at main dealers  ). Far better than my more local BMW dealer where they were all too busy to talk to the bloke in jeans and a sweatshirt !
There have been a couple of tiny things I want corrected and when I spoke to them it was the same excellent service. A very small dent (and I mean very small!) that neither I nor they had noticed was removed a week after I took delivery whilst I waited in 10 minutes. I got the distinct impression they think longer term rather than 'sale and off' which is encouraging. A quick drive with the service manager to explain a concern re the 'tracking' and he agreed + it is going in to be checked out. No arguments or the 'they all do that sir'.
At 44 and on my 14th car this has been by far the best service from sales - and service ... that I have experienced. My last BMW showed me they treated customers better than the average dealer (Lexus probably excluded) but it was still good nonetheless.
