Ok, phoned Monique and surprise - no record of my registration at all !!

Great system ...

Anyway, £47 for the two of us is not too bad I suppose.

Can anyone confirm if it is cheaper for two? :)

pvr has some kind of vines loyalty card which has given him the discount....

there is just me coming so £30 all paid up :D

I can't make this now due to work commitments. Hopefully see some of you for a run locally soon, I need to give the zed a decent spin

Signed up with a friend on Friday unfortunately my Z is in hospital ...we're going from Guildford - looking forward to it :driving:

Hope you guys have a great day in the new forest - post some pics for me to be jealous of!

A nice day out today, started at 9:00 at Vines of Gatwick, where I met up with a couple of usual suspects, PVR and gannet.

Drove down to Beaulieu for a nice lunch and met up with flimper and relative newbie JamesG

We were told there was around 120 people there so that equals 60 Z's most Z4, but a couple of Z3's and one Z1, shame there wasn't any Z8's

I have plenty of pics from the museum if anybody is interested.

+1 great day out :D

Nice drive home too once Id cleared a coach :D

I won't bother posting my pics as I forgot my camera and only had my phone camera :(

Some great pics; looked like a fun day out; with a nice selection of Z's from the old to new.

We didn't bother with the test drive, but flimper was just about to get in one as we left at 4:30.

Yes ... "that" coach

The M23 was closed in the morning (both ways) as a drunk from a wedding party next to the motorway had crossed the motorway in the night and got hit 5 times.

Great day out indeed, weather really good. Did not bother with the test drive even though one was offered - they were all auto boxes except for a 23 which was manual and I did not see the point in that one.

Think Gannet had fun in an auto box though ... :poke: :poke:

Enjoyable day out, good to meet up with some forumites. Had a test drive in the 35is, my thoughts were...

1) Flappy paddles aren't for me, I need a gearstick and a clutch peddle, didn't have the nerve to try them even  Just drove in Auto, Sport mode. Rules out the M5 and M6 as my next car I think
2) The noise from the 35is is epic, very impressed
3) Love the seats, more comfortable than the M
4) Performance wise the 35is (dare I say it) might have the edge unless you are flat out
5) Didn't like the steering, too light
6) 3D satnav looks great, if I could get that in the M I wouldn't hesitate
7) Pick up on the accelerator seemed to be slightly delayed, wasn't instant

All in all a very nice car, but was more than happy to get back in the M :driving:

A thumbs up for Vines, all seemed pleasant people and the BBQ at the end was a nice touch. Can't wait for the next event.
