Very significant brake fade despite very recent brake fluid change..?

You could well be right!
It also mentions in NewTIS that sometimes the rear brakes, with the electronic parking brake, cannot be bleed completely using the normal method. It then goes on about having to remove the calliper and turn it upside down to get the rest of the air out?

I think this is all a task for my Indy to sort out….😅

Take to mot station ask them to do a brake check.
My car the rear master seals failed, quite scary losing most braking as a van pulled out. Brake fluid out of line was black, like seal rotted.
Cheaper to buy secondhand brake servo and cylinder.
Then needs bleeding with obd type reader that can do abs bleed.

So someone spent £3,500 servicing your newly acquired E89 (which is about 50% of the value of most of these now) at a BMW main dealer?
And it left them with dangerous brakes and probable binding caliper.

There is a reason many don't use main stealers!!

I had my last E89's brake fluid changed at my local back street garage. They charged £60 and it was perfect.

What a bleeding faff…..hey hey…get it….🤪

11:30pm on a Tuesday and I’m still knocking ‘em bandy….🫠
