I have downloaded a copy of my cars service history as I only have the service book from when I brought the car, but no supporting invoices etc.
The servicing and dealer visits all seem to tally up with the service book, however there is one entry that is quite substantial that has nothing else to back it up with.
When the car was 2 years old and having covered almost 10k miles, there is an entry in the maintenance that just states repair, but the repair time was almost 19hours of Labour. Other than an engine replacement, what sort of repair do you think would carry this amount of hours with a BMW dealer? From what I can see it is a mechanical repair as there are no mentions of bodywork in any of the history, and the HPI report does not give cause to believe there has been any body damage to the car.
I know it is a bit of a how long is a bit of string question, but curious as to what repair would command so many hours in the workshop.
Cheers
