yeah i do mine 2 yearly or yearly depending the cars use for that summer season, my book has way more stamps than it should do really but.... not such thing as over servicing :-)

Guys

I was told by the dealer that the maintenance computer takes time into account and I simply had to follow that.

The services were done when the service requirement came up or before depending on the timing and my whereabouts.

Jamie

The one owner is me.

It's had at least 3-4 services, none currently required.

Mobile 1 oil I think it is (expensive) and filter replaced by me each summer not counted in services

Aero skirts were fitted by me, provided painted by BMW.

Pads and tyres still original. Hence buying new pads and brake lines for a planned service this summer.

Leather is unmarked.

No speaker upgrade or folding mirrors.

iPod module (BMW), strut brace, smart roof module all added

1 owner car WILL command decent money OP, i wouldn't be too concerned personally if the serving isn't down to the BOOK, due to the mileage, it really wouldn't concern me at all... its done 6k miles for FFS my car is at 11.5 and doesn't need a valve shim yet, so yours definitely won't.

I believe it does for brake fluid, but not for oil services. But if its had 3-4 services and you've changed oil / filters yourself then I'm sure everything is good to go.

1 owner car will command a premium, but its a shame that it's not full spec (and missing some very desirable extras e.g. Nav and uprated stereo), might put some investors / collectors off, so probably won't achieve top end.

Does it have cruise control, park distance control?

I still think £17-18k would be a fair price.

Guys

Thanks for the feedback.

I think I'll go ahead with the bits of paint, do the planned brake service and see what the next mileage service is due at, maybe just do the oil service and get it over with.

The car will then be as good as the day it came out and I might put it up private to sell at +/-18.5K

If it doesn't sell, I'll keep it and revisit the plans for the supercharger later.

Me I recon at least £20K.... Sounds a bargain at 20K too..... Its as good as an ex demo that's 6 month old...

Roadsters are just so good, for a tin top of course I have the M135i

If BMW or the Indi did there job properly this will have had oil services. It's only done 6k so the brake fluid reminder at 2 years should be enough to prompt for an oil change also.
