yes, I'm currently doing 400-500 miles a week in mine

Ok cool... how long have you been doing those miles in your M... are you finding it ok for everyday use, thanks again...

Normal mileage is about 30,000 a year, but the last couple of years have seen me working from home or abroad more often, so the average has come right down.

Currently adding about 600-700 a week to mine - but some weeks it will only do 100 - by the end of May it will have 7,000 more on it than it did at the end of Feb.

I use public transport to get to work during the week so essentially mine is just a weekend car, but there's no problem with using a Z4M every day for commuting – assuming you can afford the fuel and don't mind putting the miles on it. It's more than reliable/comfortable for that I think.

The only reason you might not want to use it every day is if you're in mile after mile of stop/start traffic and/or the roads are really badly pot-holed along the whole journey. Other than that I'd personally have no problem using it every day, in fact I'd be quite happy to! :D

Thats been since I got it, so about 7 months.

Washed every week, oil and tyres checked weekly along with keeping an eye on anything else - other than that it's been no issue at all just lapping up the miles.

I only tend to use it on weekends and for meets but would be comfortable racking up the miles as they are pretty damn reliable. So long as you perform the regular checks and warm it through before dropping the hammer.

Mostly on the weekends and evenings only. Driving the M into the London (especially through islington) is a nightmare with the potholes! Its out with the cycle for commuting most days

In my first year of ownership I did 20,000 miles and briefly had the highest mileage Z4MC in the country, only to be beaten by andy (sixspeed). Now I drive the car maybe 10 times in a year, so in the last 12 months I have covered 2500 miles. In total I have 45k miles on the odo...

I have a 325i touring as daily working car... I need the extra space of the touring trunk. Also its not so good for me if my clients see me coming in the M roadster. It can create negative comments and jealousy. I want to avoid this with the people I have to work with. People here in Belgium sometimes react strange when seeing you have some kind of sports car. I don't know why they react this way...? It's not a Ferrari or Lamborghini.... It's my hobby and I bought the M for my own pleasure.

This means that I only drive the Z4M when I'm not working or when I don't need the space of my 325i Touring... The 325i is a great daily car and it's not a punishment to drive. By the way; in daily traffic jams the power of the 325i is more then enough... For me it's the perfect combination; The 325i as a daily and the M as my sun and fun car! 8) When I'm not driving the Z4M, then my girlfriend drives the car on sunny days. The people at her work all have special cars, so no worries there

Use it every day and its an absolute pleasure. My commute is quite a short one so it gets longer runs at the weekend. :)

I have a great commute from Manchester to Barmouth, straight through some of North Wales best roads. Always glad i'm driving the MC. +25,000 miles per year with a big grin!

I dont have to commute in mine daily but it is my only car, great fun and reliable although giving work colleagues the odd lift has generated some comments, most are generally alarmed by the ride height and pace even when I take it extra steady on the accelerator!

Daily driver for me.

But then i've only had it for one month. My 15 mile cross country commute is just too much fun to drive in a normal car.

Using mine for a seventy mile daily commute. Only bought it just over a week ago and find it very comfortable on the motorway. Getting around 30mpg overall so costing about a 1/3 more to run than my old 2.2i....but well worth it.
