Well times have changed and I'm more grateful for what I have....and not looking at changing until my warranty is up.....

Bloody hell Nick, I just got back at 2am today, sounds like you had an absolute nightmare 
Everyone was crowded around my phone awaiting your updates, there was a big cheer when you first said it was fixed and would make it to Innsbruck only for it to be taken away again. Hate it when they just reflash a fault code without actually fixing it.
If it makes you feel any better one of the Elises expired on the Stelvio Pass just 24 hours after yours - they also flew home and are awating the car to be returned to blighty. The TVR windscreen surround delaminated on the autobahn, its's PAS failed and the vaccum hose kept falling off. The MX5s clutch barely made the finish and the other Elise ended the trip with a snapped handbrake cable.
Worst thing is they wouldnt give you a decent hire car. If you get crashed into they you can usually claim like-for-like yet if your £40k BMW expires through no fault of your own then they wont even dig you out a Boxster or something!

Won't be back for another 2 weeks yet, I think it's the injector , as that's what the breakdown papers say...
