I've just checked my car with Carly whilst it was running and have 2 errors showing;

Fault code: 002743 CDKMD01 - misfire detection cylinder in 2.zuendreihenfolge / Lambda probe diagnosis heater
resistor Vcat bank 2 / Intelligent battery sensor LIN communication: timeout / CDKMD01 -
misfire detection cylinder 7 / DFES DTCM.DFC FMASnpl C - mixture adaptation, cumulative error
/ CDKMD01 - misfire detection Cyl.2 / CDKMD01 - misfire detection cylinder 5 / CDKMD01 -
misfire detection Cyl.2 in firing order / CDKMD01 - misfire detection Cyl.3 / Lambda probe
diagnosis heater resistance before kat bank 2 / Disturbed LIN BUS -communication the battery
sensor / Misfiring cylinder 5

Fault code: 00274E Misfire at a plurality of cylinders / Intelligent battery sensor compatibility: version not plausible
/ DFES DTCM.DFC FRAUmin C - mixture adaptation, lower speed range / CDKMD - misfire
detection, error sum / Lambda probe error nernstleitung Vcat bank 1 / CDKMD - misfire
detection sum error / Lambda probe error nernstleitung before kat bank 1 / Intelligent battery
sensor firmware implausible

Could someone give me a basic explanation of what's knackered ?

For any kind of mixture related faults on the M54, the first thing to check is for splits in the intake elbow. It’s extremely common on the 3.0

Right, put the intake back together and ran carly again and got 2 different errors concerning a misfire on number 3 cylinder, let the car run until fully warm then went for a drive and ragged it silly in 2 & 3 gears to the red line for 15 mins. ran carly again and no issues, seems my car really doesn't like lockdown.

A misfire on a single cylinder is likely to be a coil pack (assuming plugs don’t have 50k+ miles on them)?
