As the title says - Turtle Wax Color Magic - colour enhancing polish, has any one used this and can rate its effectiveness?

The polish claims to restore the paint finish and masks minor scratches and swirls.

sounds very similar to Autoglym Super Resin Polish.

Light polishing properties with some filler to mask the swirls.

Autoglym SRP is thought of very highly on here and I use it myself and really like it.

Can't comment of the Turtle Wax stuff, but in general I'm not a fan of their stuff.

damn - i never realised the Autoglym Super Resin Polish did the same, i would have punted for that instead. Oh well i will try the Turtle wax and feed back to this topic.

Poorboys Black Hole (and the silver equivalent) do the same too. I was very impresed with it.

Nope, Autoglym does not have any colour in it.

Having tried both Poorboys and Autoglym SRP, I personally prefer Poorboys as it is easier to remove and can be used in direct sunlight. I would also recommend trying Poorboys Nattys paste after you use Poorboys Black Hole. It really brings the shine out and also smells like bubble gum

My Z4MC is black and I have become completely OCD about cleaning it :headbang:

Autoglym super resin polish is fine for a quick shine up but cannot hold a candle in terms of depth of shine and logetivity of protection to proper carnuba wax products such as P21S, Zymol, etc, etc.

SRP is designed to be used prior to waxing by filling swirls and such. The wax then seals it in.

OK, thanks. So I assume it works in a similar way and serves a similar purpose to a bodywork conditioner?

I use turtle wax color magic along with other things and I think it works great, very easy to wipe off,not really keen on poorboys black hole!each to their own I guess

What else do you use with the Turtle Wax Color magic?

*Update*

Applied the Turtle Wax Color Magic - colour enhancing polish after a light shampoo. Went on easy and after waiting a few minutes i polish the Z up. The effect was impressive, the minor swirls i had have vanished and the polish leaves a great shine. It was all to easy. The polish comes with a wax touch up stick and this was excellent for filling in the small stone chips. I would say the the wax touch up stick is pretty good. I have no comparison as i haven;t used Poorboys products etc but I can say this product works well and there is no colour mismatch with the interlagos blue of my Z.

glad you found the color magic easy to use,i put meguiars tech wax 2.0 on top of the color magic which works well imho

I know this picture doesn't show in detail the effect, but she is pretty shiny after a simple shampoo n Color magic application, not to mention swirl free.

I will look into getting some meguiars tech wax 2.0
