I have been going nearly every year since the mid 90s and I'm going back to Olu Deniz in a few weeks. After not being able to go back to Eqypt this year, I'll drive to Turkey if I have to.

What's stopping you going back to Egypt?

I think Turkey is many years away from Eu membership - even more after the attempted coup d'etat

Or it could be accelerated to try and keep the lid on the boiling pot .

Edogan was very interested in EU membership some years back, but has reportedly cooled on the idea. Its not in his personal interest - his finances are pretty suspect, with long rumoured embezzlement on massive scale, managed through his son who lives in Italy/Switzerland.
