TRUMP! Oh my?

Hilarious that it's happened and I look forward to seeing what he does.
Mainly the wall, that will be amusing too.

Mainly shocked.
Was expecting a 'sensible' vote to go to Clinton. But the people have spoken, trump it is!
Wonder if he'll really cosy up to Putin and lock up Clinton....

Not sure he can build a wall... all the bricks have been bought up by Canada to build theirs, in order to stop the tide of grumpy Americans coming over the border!

At the end of the day, the American people have put their foot down, and voted for what they wanted, just like we did earlier this year. The "minority" just need to accept that and get on with it. How long before we hear calls for a "re-count" or "re-vote" a'la post Brexit, I wonder?

I'm waiting for the petition for another election "because they didn't think he would actually get it" when voting for him.

Politics around the world need a change from the norm and maybe this could be the start of a good thing.

Really?

Was told by a workmate that Obama had said in a speech this morning that Trumps Twitter account had been taken off him by his campaign team for the three days leading up to the election as he couldn't be trusted by them. He then asked the question is he the right man to have the nuclear codes to the biggest Arsenal in the world when he couldn't be trusted with a Twitter account.

Thought was a bit funny.

Hope the administration can control him to an extent.

Aside from his trash talking, I don't see a huge difference in policy between Trump's crazy wall idea in keeping illegal Mexicans immigrates out of the USA, compared to the one the EU recently built in Calasis https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/sep/20/work-calais-wall-refugees-lorries-uk

Yeap they will serve very similar purposes.
Guess the only difference is we paid for our one!

OMG, life just got a whole lot more interesting. Let's just hope he's not the racist sexist power mad individual, he makes our to be. :o

For a second I thought you were talking about Clinton until I reread it and saw "he"
At least Iran might escape being bombed for a few more years.

It is interesting and unexpected to some extend, but the hatred for her was so big that it gave him a chance as well.

Stated policies are always massively watered down, so I don't expect them to be as blunt as they sounded. However, who knows that if immigrants get pushed back that they start developing their own countries instead of running off to better places. Perhaps if local industry is protected by tariffs that the quality can return to products, as over the last 10 years or so, we have only seen Asian products appear that not of sufficient quality.

I'd have mentioned Joan Collins AKA Alexis and JR, if HC had got in. At least Putin can have a rest now.

(Apologise to JC)

#Gothedonald!

As an outsider (I used to live in America) I think this as potential to be entertaining although he will not deliver on a lot of his promises (like the wall ) just like Brexit won't (there will never be an extra £350m/week for the NHS!).

However, with the Senate and Congress on his side he may get to do some things, but he will be reigned in and controlled by his advisers - you can already see the change - his winning speech this morning was far more measured than anything he'd said previously!

However, now theyve voted for him, does this make Yeezy Kanye for Prez 2020 more realistic!!!!!! :o

How much do these forecasters make? I wouldn't pay them in used washers.
Three recent elections, two here and one in US and not one correctly forecast.
