I bought this one a few months ago, as was fed up with my cheapo one keep twisting with weight on it.
The Halfords advanced jack is superb. Easy to use, has double pistons so is little effort and it locks really easily. It also has a large pad so easily takes a raised pad to sit into the BMW jacking 'holes'. It sat for a week raised with weight on and didn't drop a mm either.
Only downside is it is very heavy, so you can't carry it around. Needs to be wheeled everywhere.
