Feckin' hell, some proper low blows in here 
We should have a Padded Cell section where you can put a link in a thread to a rant about anything that annoys you about said thread, kind of no-holds-barred, no-one gets banned as it's off the topic. Or the mods da divert the rant to there forcibly. With luck there's a few members we'd never see outside it again :lol:

TT forum has a "Flame Room" where folks go to offload their issues , seem,s to work well but doesn,t prevent brawling in the usual channel,s :|
I,m all for opinion , debate & at times if needed , criticism , it,s a forum & should be open to all who wish to offer up their thought,s 8) what we don,t need is outright slating & personal ramraiding that is quite obviously meant in a malicious nature ,
A getting together of so many folks who,s initial common bond is a car is bound to lead to the odd disagreement
, as long as it,s kept civil then it,s tolerable & to a certain end can be part of the forum,s appeal
Now the folks who take their ball home ? I just don,t get that at all :?
This forum is as about as close as I get to social media, and as others have said it is mostly good natured. But there is some snipping and curt answers to genuine questions, do you think it would be the same if people actually knew the OP and not just an avatar and username ? - I very much doubt it.

Think we all need to remember that this forum has been very supportive of a lot of it's members in the past, and hope it will again in the future.
We do need it find a way of stopping the bad mouthing which just turns people off what is meant to be a fun place to be
Hopefully the next few months will see us all start to meet up in person and do what we all ( or most of us at least ) like to do best and actually get driving

I find 99.9% of the time it's very friendly but there are a few who seem to try to stir trouble or take offence if someone or more than one person doesn't share their view. That's only natural that we won't always agree but we should be able to see the others point of view and respect that. I'd hate to meet said people on real life, I hope it's just the fact they can hide behind a keyboard and screen that they feel that they can be as rude and aggressive as they are.
Seems your best just to take a step back and left these people rant on. Don't rise to it and they'll soon get bored.

I think we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that when you go visiting many other forums the proportion of friendliness is almost always lower, and in quite a few cases significantly so. Or else they are wastelands of unanswered appeals for knowledge and help.
