Just got back from the dealer..... In torn between the pearl white and pearl red ... anyway I'm stuck with the red one now so I'm not sure why I'm pondering it.

Interior is suitably shite. Can't wait to have some extended time with this.

even the brake ducts are actually functional, they funnel through and have ducts to the back of the rotors.... the jap version comes with water injection cooling for the intercooler.

im probably going to loose a fortune on this, again god willing its a keeper so it doesn't matter... :evil: :evil: :evil:

i said the same about my z4m.... 2007 ... brought new... still got it

im a huge huge huge hot hatch fan they are really wha got me into cars when i was a young lad.... my dad coming home in a r5 GTT blew my mind..... i find them most interesting than any ther genre of car, a hot hatch can do everything we need. i plan to leave this bone stock and just rack up the miles ... then i saw the lichfield nitron suspension kit :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

i expect this will be with me for some time.... very very excited in a world where electric cars are our future!

deposit is paid.... ill get final confirmation that ive got an allocation tomorrow morning, so fingers crossed i get one... i believe their is only a few left now of the 1700 original cars.



they given me an extended test drive for march ( lock down rules depending) and i can get it refunded if im not happy after more time with the car.

ive ordered a red one..... then i changed my mind and told i cant change my mind i havent seen one in the flesh but i will do today as ive got to wrap a yaris for toyota birmingham and their is one on site so im looking forward to going, ill take lots of pics and report back.... i hope ive made the right decision!! it was either red or pearl white!

My mates is White,butI prefer the Red or Black personally,so good choice on colour

The film used below is one of the most expensive vinyl films out.. gloss and reflections like wet sanded paintwork.

I don't think you can get it in blue...black , White , pearl white and red.. .... White has been 65% of the ordered UK cars. Dealer tells me they are not making more after this and moving onto a hot corolla with the same engine but fwd.

Yes,Black,not Blue

Thought it was a Dark blue the other colour,but its Black

The Pearl white suits it,I just prefer colours.,as white always reminds of when cars only came in White or Black,lol

Mymzte was told the same,re more builds,but according to several online reviews,like Top gear,Johnny Smith off 5th gear,etc they have all mentioned that Toyota might build another limited run if demand is there.

Either way, it should hold its value, as collectors and enthusiasts will be its longterm market possibly.

I'm sure you'll love it.

Unless I'm mistaken, the green one (which does look awesome) also has a small front splitter and extra sill extensions.

Kathleen and I put the finishing touches on the route for our European trip last weekend, now just need to wait until it’s safe to do it

Just out of interest, why wouldn’t they let you change the colour? Is it because of a set number of each colour and you book a specific build rather than just a slot for a car?

R.E the car, i have no idea , he just said.... i cant change the colour now the order is locked in..... but the pearl red and pearl white where my choices so ill just assume the universe wished me to have a red one! most of them are white according to the dealer. so it will be nice to have a red one.

After abit of moaning they've changed my order to pearl white.... which apparently was a cancelled order otherwise i wouldn't have got it.... ( not sure how true that is . it was always close between the red and the pearl white but..... every since my old pearl R5 turbo..... ive always wanted another car in that colour and i couldn't ignore this chance, feels like a homage to the car i loved the most and wished i never sold. Put simply red was gorgeous but.... the pearl white speaks to my soul.
