This is really a follow up thread to one that I posted about 3 months ago showing a friends new toy. I couldn't find the original due to not remembering what I'd wrote (symptom of a misspent youth). I'll probably run these threads every once in a while as he changes his car a lot and it's really just an excuse for sharing some pics and his thoughts on some really great cars that plebes like me will never own
Anyway. The Scud.
Has gone.
The verdict was that it felt like it was going to brake every time it was driven, it just seemed very fragile. However, the biggest issue was the brakes, they just don't work (as you can see they are tiny) without enough heat in them and you can't get heat into them on normal road driving unless you left foot brake on the straights. Supposedly there were a few hairy moment when the brakes were needed but just weren't there until this was discovered.
Now replaced with some good old Pork.
He is so much happier in the GT3. He says it suits his driving style so much better, it can be thrown about and it just feels solid.
Edit: there was enough money left in the car fund from the sale of the Ferrari to get this as well
