You could do better with an aerosol from Halfords (seriously). To not have removed the bolts and split the stars is very lazy. Did you beat them up on price (to <>£20) per wheel?
 
All been said i think - wheels not split etc. Plenty of examples on the Forum of excellent quality refurbs with wheels split and re-assembled. Perhaps confirmation of how they were going to dit it would have been prudent.
 
That is pretty shocking.. but unless they said they were going to split and polish the lip prior to the job then they have technically refurbished them.

Hope you used your credit card.... I had something similar happen but the company did split my 108's, just did a bit of a crap job. My bank advised getting giving the company a chance to resolve it before they would step in, I believe your local trading standards would advise the same. Yours are so bad only a full split and refurb by someone like lepsons will get them back to the condition you want.

Silly not to get the car back in your possesion too as now they potentially have a lever over you if you decide to take a more forceful route to resolution...
 
I'd get your car back first, then take the car to an alternative place for a quote to rectify (if indeed it needs rectification) the problem and then send them the bill (or request the additional costs - assuming you refused to pay the bill in the first place).

They may refuse to release your car until paid. In that case I'd pay by credit card (to obtain legal protection) and take it from there...
 
I had mine refurbed through Sytner Birmingham and they looked pretty mint to me. This photo was taken when selling the car and the refurb was 18 months old!
Might be worth giving them a call and asking who they use. It was an external company and not done in-house!
The salesman was a good bloke, Dave Brady if IIRC! Worth a try.
Good luck sorting yours out! If it were my wheel refurb business I would be embarrassed! :thumbsdown:

Right £20 a wheel can only be 1 company in bham and I use them,

The first set of wheels I did they sprayed the whole lot Inc bolts and looked the same although the finish was alot better and that paint is awful! Who did it? Name? Take them back and get them to strip them again!!

Then once they are stripped you really should split them yourself and get them to do the same finish as mine silver rims and black/silver centres check out my thread!! And tell them you got recommended by Leon and they know I give em some business!!!

1 star were t the same colour on mine so they happily stripped and started again, now I have 4 mint wheels.

Ps were they in there last week I seen them and inspected them while I dropped mine off :)
