I knew I would get some stick... & I deserve it!... I blame the mrs! :)
 no decorating Darren's car with bling for the lincs meet ;)
I promise I will behave myself!

Darren is a top bloke & he deserves better for sure he hasn't anything to worry about! :)

I thought it was a poor start to a new season... just old, fat, unfunny guys wasting time and money...

really lost it's spark... no even sure the hosts get on with each other, looked very forced to me...

and the 'star' in the car... someone with really bad dandruff.... shocking... dull... boring...

Bloody excellent. Had me chuckling all the way through.

For those of you that don't get it, it's no longer a car programme. It's 3 guys acting like we'd all love to, with a fair bit of comedy thrown in, using cars as something to hold the entertainment together.

I can remember going from drivers seat, over the roof and back to the drivers seat in a Granada doing 60 along a beach north of Dublin many years ago. Stupid to the n'th degree but great fun. Last night remined me of that.

This thread feels like ground hog day. Most of the people who don't like it have already told us at great length before they don't like it yet they seem to keep watching each new series just to tell us how much they disliked it!

If you don't like it don't watch it and don't keep bloody commenting on it. We know you don't like it!!! Use your off button.

review some cars! Go back to what it was like before and show us new models and test drive them.

Last night was once again a complete load of tosh, smashing up supermarkets and blowing up cars for the sake of it. It was entertaining the first 389 times.... am bored now.

Ah, but did you see the woman behind Richard Hammond during the sofa chat segment? Wow........ Worth watching for that piece alone. ;)

I really like Top Gear but I did find the section on the 80's hot hatches a tad boring and just a bit too childish.

+1

It's like saying the news isn't like it used to be. Move on people. You have plenty to choose from so don't wind yourself up so much by convincing yourself you'll experience the brown sepia of 1985 all over again

Some nice cars on next week's show though

The hamster is testing the Alfa 4C, and Clarkson is driving the McLaren P1 at the Spa GP track... nice work, if you can get it

You have take it for what it is.... light entertainment. It's like a book you buy in the airport, not because it's riveting but it passes the time.

That said there is certainly a gap in the market for a new car show, for me it would be a bit of TG + a bit of 5th Gear + a bit of the Gadget show.

Hopefully back to normal TG next week then! :)

Not going to lie I near pissed myself at the supermarket bit  but then I'm only young and yet to lose my sense of humour :poke:

The TGPD bit was crap though, up until that I thought it was good.
