Top down after rain?

It's not a problem if the car is upside down when you open the roof. Or in Australia.
I have experience of opening the driver's door when my car was upside down. That led to the roof immediately collapsing into the car. I wonder if opening the roof in such circumstances would lead to the doors collapsing? :?
I also have experience of being in Australia and I can confirm that I had no problems with any Z4s. However, I did have a wet boot on more than one occasion.

Lol! That's just me driving ha ha! It's unusual to see me drive lol! I have driven completely starkers once.........that's driving unusually :driving:

And there was me thinking exactly that, but I decided to keep it clean for once out of politeness

Well there you go. That genuinely did happen when I lived up in the Pentlands when I had my E88 about 6 years ago. I did refrain from having the top down on that drive but did have the heated seats on

Thankfully not. Just a bit mad sometimes. When I get the urge to do something it's very hard for me to resist.

I've got myself into trouble before on a car forum for a 'reflections' picture that got a bit out of hand. It's wasn't even rude! I could re-enact the nude driving but I don't think Mike would be too happy and it would be interesting in the middle of Edinburgh City Centre

"In developing the roof’s kinematics, BMW’s engineers also considered the ideal way to drain rainwater from the roof courtesy of a fully integrated water management system for the roof structure. A special drainage system takes up residual drops of water while the roof is moving and allowing any remaining drops to evaporate above the rear-end air vents. This efficiently prevents any formation of moisture in the interior or luggage compartment."

I'm calling BS on this one! I spent about 25 min using some old plastic sheeting to line the boot in a waterproof manner then tried dropping the top with loads of water on top. The result was... the boot doing a damn good impression of a paddling pool! :(
