That's actually not that bad for Xenon's, Audi wear a mask and hold a flintlock for theirs, really shouldn't all premium cars now come with Xenon's as standard.
As for alloys, they are one of the biggest ripoffs on the options list, just after sat Nav
I would say new features over upgrading existing features would be more important to me, so:
1) Heated Seats
2) Bluetooth
3) Cup Holders
That being said i would never get a car without Xenons now (unless xenons are not avail option) the difference is night and day... literally!
I believe the E89 has Xenons as standard though.

heated seats seem to be the plum choice of extra ? my last 3 vehicles have all had this feature which i have to say in winter is reason enough to go out of the house but as a top choice ? not convinced a luxury that is useful only a quarter of the year should be no1 ?
anyhow here's mine ( which fortunately i have but would still have bought the car without)
1) higher spec seats & include elec/memory
2) xenon,s / much more practical use than a warm 4rse
3) nav/screen/phone prep
& if you like the heated seats the 6 series had heated steering wheel :roll: now that was worth having

What's piano trim? .... Glad to see the car I bought has pretty much all the things you guys have mentioned . I can say the seats/radio/ xenon /nav are worth it. ESP if you are buying 2nd hand and someone else has taken the hit. I agree with whoever said get the best you can. I would choose a better specd car with higher miles over a lower mileage version ESP if the miles came with decent service history. (so long as its not red oculus)

footwell and rested her face on it, i'm still trying to clean off the mark!!!!

I live in a remote are, so I really had to pare down my must-haves to find a car less than 500 miles away. Manual was the only must have. Heated seats & sport package were strongly preferred but not deal breakers. Fortunately I found a car at a good price 280 miles away that had pretty high spec, but it still had some objectionable features, so not the perfect car by any means.
