Where abouts on the z4mc is the tool kit or more importantly the towing eye kept as my car is stuck on the front garden.

Will have to ring Bmw tommorow and get new items.
My dealer just asked my my VIN number, and found the right key from that.JAD said:You may struggle with a phone call unfortunately. From memory they have about 16 keys in a "master" box, but have to try each one, so you'd have to be physically there. At least that's what happened when mine wasn't supplied by the dealer I bought my roadster from.

I now keep 3 keys (one at home, one in the toolkit, and one in the glovebox) - as I always seem to lose at least one of them when I come to change wheels/tyres.
My towing eye has the same problem. I always try to have two for trackdays, so that I can be towed out of the kitty litter easily (touch wood - never needed to in the Z4). But whenever I get a track day I can only ever find one. So I go and buy another, put it in the toolkit, and lo & behold I've only got one the next time I do a track day![]()
