Absolute rot, but as for Gillian Anderson, just wow, didn't realise she had an English accent. I'm in love with her even more than I thought :)
I'll fight you for her

The new Jag F Type

Looked & sounded epic ,
Jaguar really have bounced back big time from the old days & i've only 3 yrs till 50 so i can buy one legitimately then

I really enjoyed the whole episode one of the best so far for me

I like the mx5 too  but I would miss the straight 6 I think

Didn't think the jag vs gt86 was a fair race mind you!

Yay! for a car show. Not a rubbish bit in sight. Long may it continue.

Now where can I get £800,000 including Tax, for that Eagle E-Type 8)

Jeremy Clarkson sounded like my Das tonight moaning about the noise of the Jag. That kind of moaning should be applied if your driving a civic that has been given a bit of a make over. Was terrific tonight and I did really like the MX-5, not too keen on the inside of the doors reminded me of a mk1 Ka I once got a lift in and feared for my life and he didn't like the headlights but glad to see it's still well priced and a good drive.

The 0-60 time being just under 9 seconds and 'that's fine' comment made me laugh. Must be the only car they'll ever say that about.

I know what he means about the F-Type. That exhaust is just too tricked up. It does sound a bit naff. They aren't the only ones doing it. The PSE on the Boxster/Cayman is similar. Plus, that blind spot was horrific. It is a lovely looking thing from most angles though.

Apparently, Top Gear could not be recorded tonight as Crufts and Midwife were more important :o

Apparently I can watch it on iPlayer "soon"

It's on BBC 2 tomorrow night at 1900 I think!

Re call the midwife and the other stuff that gets in the way, I bought a tv for the bedroom !

I think drag racing the E Type with the Toyoya was stupid though.....

was a bit pointless. now the mx5 and that doing a few laps would be good as both subscribe the lightweight well balanced drive ethos

love the f type tho. would have one in a blink if i could

I know a lot of folk like the little mx5 - but I tried one many years ago and didn't like it!

There wasn't enough oomph to pull the skin off a rice pudding - it was the 1600 version so maybe they have improved ?

Again I know whole lot like them so please don't take any offence
