Tonight's Top Gear

Don't know why people watch it then moans about it. It's always similar even if the theme is different. Surely you know if you like it or not!

You can guarantee whenever it's on people will delight in telling us all how they hate it.

Yet they seem to watch every episode? :scratchhead:
+1 I don't like Eastenders, but I don't watch it and then tell everyone how bad it it is.... if you don't like it, don't watch it, the TV has an off button....

Top Gear isn't a hard-core car program any more, it's just a car-themed light entertainment show.... if you want an alternative car program there's always Call the Modwife on BBC1....

£1800 for a cosworth V6 with 55k on the clock is a bargain! I wonder if you could convert that hurse into a decent pickup ... ?

come on a campervan would be more amusing :D

it was sort of funny for a bit and entertaining here and there but i found this weeks to be a bit rubbish. not a patch on last week. given they have a 10 episode run it just felt like a filler episode. are there no new cars to try out?

I think an I8 eppisode is coming up, that should be a good review.

I take it for what is it now, it is silly but i do laugh out loud at a few of the things they do and do still enjoy watching it. :)

I did think James may discussing his European car wash friend was mega funny, its not a typical James may comment, which made it even better

Plus I presume Clarkson lifting the female casualties skirt with his foot and noting the lack of underwear would have sent the BBC complaints dept into meltdown.

Even my wife was crying with laughter last night during the ambulance sketch which is not the norm when Top Gear is on.

It was good episode, actually laughed. And that blonde girl behind hammond in the start of the epiode was sexy :P

I only continue to watch it in the deluded hope that it will become a car show again, like the good old days. I would say 10 mins good TV the rest is Tosh!

Top Gear has been an entertainment programme for a long time. Accept it for what it is or watch something else.

Makes me laugh :D

+1 and I went to watch them live at the ExCel London just as mad live as on tv

I usually find it amusing but this episode was absolute rubbish...well, except for 1 minute and 42.2 seconds in the middle :driving:

This must be the last series, nowhere to go now

Don't know, perhaps they can take very basic cars and give them some new life by improving their spec

I watched it at x30 on Sky plus and stopped it about 6 times, it took me about 10 mins to watch it...you know it makes sense..it's like the Gadget Show it's just pants most of the time

The Classic car show on Ch5 on Thursday was tons better and actually featured some cars

I enjoyed that too... Let's hope the new series of fifth gear and wheeler dealers is better this year too ;)

.... and Car SOS

Ok finally gave up and turned over 10 minutes before the end tonight. What was that last load of tripe about.
