today i...

... got paid and am metamorphosing into Santa this week. Lists collected from the family, and carbon wheel caps & black grilles soon to be on the way

Fitted my strut brace and gave her a good clean.

Brace really does seem to make a noticeable difference - cornering seems more confident, less wallowing as the nose travels round. Also, speed bumps seem crisper somehow - can only say that it feels like the front wheels are more 'in communication' with each other.

Apologies for poor blackberry photos...

Bet mine was the cheapest for the weekend - a new pack of plastic gromets on order from fleabay for the weekend after I broke a couple from sound deadening the door panels

Can anyone beat that???

... woke up to a crisp, clear, sunny morning on the first day of a long weekend of Christmas shopping, rugby, fixing more bits to the car and roof-down hooning whenever I can sneak away. Lovely :D

I like this thread so I am going to keep bumping it, even if I end up being the only one posting :P

Today i... put the car sideways on ice going round a roundabout - the first time by accident, the second and third times by design ; I also bagged up the very effeminate light blue carbon wheel caps I was sent by mistake to be returned for the black ones I originally ordered :headbang: Totally spoiled my day yesterday when I got them, and I couldn't bring myself to post about it

Today i took the Z for clear, icy and snowy parkin lot, to test how it handles on extreme situations(reality= when the snow dropped i felt again 18yr boy and wanted to do some sideways..!)

And oh BOY how it handles.. Once, when i was going very sideways i thinked that now i gonna loose the tail, but still turned the wheel towards the slide. it felt that the steering wheel just doesn't stop turning and i easily did save the drift.

i have experiense e36 318iS, e30 325 touring (with LSD) e39 520iA, E46 330CiA but this beated them all. Whan an mini-supercar :D

Oh i would, if there would be a single day without rain/wet snow storming down the sky.. Under that time that i drive home to place where i wash this thing, it would look kinda same than now :(

... am going to sack work at 1230, wrap myself up, turn on the heaters, and drive aaaaaalll the way home from London with the roof down and the stereo turned right up

Today I cleaned my roof fabric with Auto Glym roof cleaning kit

Had a few good runs with the roof down over Xmas and New Year. In between runs whilst the roof was up it gathered some muck. Today was cleaning day.

I order eibach lowering springs, drilled & grooved black edition brake discs with pads and red caliper paint.

Taxed the Z today, £260 for the pleasure.

Looking seriously at tyres to replace the runflats as I'm just getting fed up of tramlining, fighting the wheel and driving around potholes.
Most likely V'steins going by online reviews and forum choice.

Will sell the Bridgestone runflats as they have only done 1-2k miles.

Nice 2-hour clean too - so that's a quick one then...!

Si

Had a 5 hour cleaning session.

Wash, clay, wash, dodo polish, a layer of Chemical guys acrylic glaze and 2 coats of Dodo Purple Haze Wax. She smells lovely.
