...woke up late, had to scrape ice off the car for the first time this year, and really want to stop working and go back to bed... Which is herder to resist than you might think as I'm working from home today :zzzz:

why scrape the car then?

or did you drive round the block for the shear hell of it.

I always take my son to school when I work at home - my wife gets a slightly slower strt to the day,he loves it, and yes, it gives me a chance to have a wee drive for the hell of it after he's dropped off. Result - everyone's happy

today i drove my Z4 3.5i courtesy car about 180 miles on the motorway

still prefer my coupe

i did wash my Z for first time by myself. God that was the greatest car wash what i have ever done. Didn't find any dents' scratch etc. just perfect paint all the way.

After that i feel d so good that when i turned into a "big" road, i hit the sport-button and stepped on it. Damn this beast is fast. When the gearbox changed to second gear, my 110km/h (65mph) limter wen't off.. :driving:

Worked from home. Took delivery of a new bed and new sofa, MOTd the ///M and finally got both light and power sorted in my garage.

forgive me for my ignorance as i am a bit of a bike nut but i do love my cars wot is a stubby, in the bike world its a shortened exhaust but i guess that is not what it is here. :?

what the hell did they do, you gave them the tyres and wheels, it can't be that hard to get right?

Where did you go in the end?

Vines - the new woman at service quoted the wrong fitting costs, so I paid "their" cost (it is outsourced inside Vines by some tyre company).

Saved me £25 for 2 tyres for the fitting costs in the end.
