Probably a bit easier now, if you can deal with the traffic - more roads :D

Mrs B is Malaysian, but we've not been back to see the family for four years so it's well overdue. Nothing to do with me having bought 2 Zs in that time, before anyone says anything :|

Just took a look at the map. didn't recocnise the place. I just remenber one dualed road into KL, with plantations either side of it & a couple of high rise buildings, plus red phone boxes. It was 1986 I think.

I had my wife's A4 MOT'd and it went thro ok - but I have to admit to making a mistake. I normally get the cars tested a month early but had it done today (7th) as we go on holiday next week. Then I checked the old certificate and certificate doesn't expire until 10th September.

The result, the new mot expires 6th August next year so I've lost a month by submitting the car three days early. :x

:rofl: I once saw two kids playfully jumping over quite a river of tramps piss until their mom saw them and stopped all the fun......made me smile!!

Spent 55% of my day driving the Golf to CBeebies Land and back again. 370 miles and more queues than a Scrabble factory 'job lot rare letters' department.

I didn't know what it meant either lol

Park the vehicle on a 30 degree incline nose up, take off the radiator cap and idle the engine for about an hour ...., purges every single air bubble from the coolant system ...... engine used to run at 102 degs increasing to about 112 in the mountains ....... now its rock solid at 100 degs never going above 103 even when hammered up a 10 km uphill all the way mountain road .....

will be doing the same to the Zed when I get home ...... :D
 
Couldn't check in to my flight online, warning number one.

Couldn't check in at the desk.. warning two.

Special checkin desk (expecting to be escorted to a dark room..) - people around me being told they have to fly tomorrow as loads of flights cancelled...

...Long 10 minute wait whilst my guy sits on hold.. chat a bit about how he must deal with some right sh**y customers...

Boom - upgrade! Top deck on a 747 and free breakfast in the lounge.. today is a good day!
 
Waxed it, checked the tyre pressures, filled it full of 99 and packed my suitcase ready for the Euro trip tomorrow.
 
Drove down to Koblenz from Amsterdam - it made he realise how much these cars are wasted in the UK!
Didn't do much over 100mph this run ( I had swmbo as a speed limiter - she's getting worse as she gets older!)
