today i...

Staying under that radar is some seriously low flying!! RTAB limiter's are good. I have noticed a huge difference at the rear. But i did at a new diff so i am sure that has made a big difference as well.

Yesterday really but,

Had a run down from Montabaur to Freiburg on some lovely bits of Autobahn.
Steady 100mph, quite often 110 for a few miles then the odd 140mph until she started to squawk too much.

I remember doing that on errrrrrrrr the M8 :D

But at 120 mph I somebody overtook me !

Was sent a iPhone photo from a mate as the second flying Lanc is over from Canada on a visit. Simply awesome sight, not happy I'm missing this ....

Thats very sad what a shame!! It really affected me seeing it fly went and read up about them afterward.

I was at a graduation ceremony at RAF Cranwell in the 90's and they had a Vulcan do a fly-past - oh, the noise

Clay mitt / Clay Bar the whole car (picture does not do it justice)

Highly recommend this - I was a bit skeptical because because I thought surely this is just an overpriced oven mitt...but after a fraction of the time spent old school clay barring and seeing (and feeling) the results I was very pleased especially used with Auto Glym Rapid Detailer

My Dad was a dog handler in the RAF police and stood under those huge wings on guard when the thing was a serving bomber. The first time I saw one was at an air show as a small kid and the noise scared the cr@p out of me!

:) my old man was on 27 Sqn flying Vulcans out of Scampton, GP06.. Those things shook the windows when they took off!!

Well after starting my exams at 7 this morning and finishing at 2 this afternoon, sat infront of a computer and my head exploding and constantly been belt fed information I have passed my pilots aptitude, BOSH!

It was early 70's - headed towards sea,. Smoking badly. It was reported that only the pilot was on board at time.
Wasn't a lot of the technology of the Vulcan used on Concord development?
