fast and furious style weaving antics were silly also. be a shame to see such a nice car smashed up due to the drivers chavness.

Clearly the impact on the bumper cracked the seal on the headlight. Mr Pensioner's insurance can replace that too. Did your son get his reg number?

What an embuggerance. Have a good holiday and try and forget about it

Cheers Stuart, plan on forgetting about it once I'm on that plane. As for reg numbers; yep son got that (good lad) - just waiting for plod to turn up for statements etc. Don't think I can swing for the headlight in this instance :) , but the bumper will need a full respray etc. The grills are also a bit loose, and the bumper/headlight gap is bigger on the left than the right. Will be taking it in for a quote tomorrow morning..... but will wait until I get back to get it fixed.

Son told me that she drove into the front - he was texting (quell surprise), had his head down, heard and felt the bump and though I was being heavy handed with closing the boot  - as if I ever am - and then looked forward to see a mad, grinning pensioner, who reversed, then again drove back into the front, scraped along the bumper, smiled at my son, started laughing and then drove off..... perhaps her meds hadn't kicked in that morning, and she thought she was in the funfair?? Mad old bat.

are xenons not covered under warranty?

Possibly Taz, but mine are de-gingered and angel-eyed, so not covered as are classed as an after market addition. Its a simple fix though, take about an hour, just a pita

... went plane spotting.

and on my little hoon back, I saw the aftermath of a rollover accident. I wonder how they did it, but I hope nobody got hurt.

...was woken up by my neighbour and wife setting off on their motor bikes at 7am this morning. Why is it necessary to repeatedly rev a bike before leaving :? :x

Anyway, as I was up and there is barely a cloud in the sky I shifted SWMBO's car to the kerb and buggered off out for an hour's hooning. Fantastic fun :driving:

Was guilty of this when I had a proper bike (not a pic of mine, but same model)...

...and am still guilty of gently 'popping' the zed when starting it up (such a fantastic exhaust note). But only in 'sociable' hours, honest

Very anti-social first thing on a Sunday, especially when everyone has their windows open as it is sooooo feckin' hot. I'm over it now though :D
