Got asked by work if I was interested in going to Nepal, in November for 3 weeks. I will be climbing the Mera peak I think it is? :s needless to say I said yes. Working out at about £1000 at the moment, no doubt it will get reduced but everything is supplied kit, accomodation, food and travel. I guess some times the Army has its perks :D .
 
Thanks! Bit of help from a buddy of mine who's a landscape Gardner. Loads cheaper to landscape the garden yourself than to pay people to do it! Quite enjoying it learning too!
 
Drove a friends Boxter S for the first time. A real nice example. Full SH, well looked after etc... Honestly, I was pretty underwhelmed! The cabin was tiny, real tiny, indicator and wiper stalks felt very plasticky, no auto light sensors (little embarrassing pulling off the drive expecting the lights to turn on!!), I expected more too from the engine which I wasn't enthused about, the brakes were spongy and all in all made me very happy indeed with the Z!

Happy I got to drive it though. As a car, it's a nice drive. Just in comparison to the Z, it was miles out IMO

Would hate it to have been a Z4...

Got pulled in a 1.4 Astra at 5:37am many years back. Shown on his little Vascar thingy that I was doing 103.4, when he first clocked me and he'd been chasing me for 7 miles. We chatted, he told me to take it easy and I drove off. Not even a slapped wrist. Oh for the good old days.

I was just round the corner from that ! Our office doesn't overlook the station though, and there was no way anyone was getting near on foot.
 
Spent the morning on Auto trader & PH classified. :D

Spent the afternoon driving around, in the Zed, looking at replacements for the little Mazda. :thumbsup:
(that died on Thurs) :thumbsdown:

Now need to go cut the grass. :roll:
