Collected The Beast from the bodyshop as have had a new front bumper fitted after some Richard Cranium reversed into me and punched a hole in the bumper with their tow bar.

How long until I scrape it on a speedbump or kerb???

All covered on their insurance but took 8 weeks for the bumper to arrive here!

Road trip planned for tomorrow to soot up my brand new mufflers and hopefully reduce the drone somwhat...

Received a refund of £400 from British Gas due to my direct debits being way more than they should've been.

Not going to say no to that

Thats the front gardens block paving paid for!

Just checked and they've also knocked a total of £31 a month off my gas and electric diect debit. Even better news!

Likewise, getting darker as home time gets nearer :(

Just hope it doesn't rain, car still fairly clean but road from MK to Cheltenham messes things right up with a bit of water :headbang:

Looking forward to tomorrow evening and thinking how I can convince the other half that roof down is right. I've also been cleaning bird kak off both the R32 and the E89. Must be s**t on a blue car say. Both splattered. One in East lothian and one in Edinburgh City Centre. Great!

Saw this: Explain.

I can assure you a train will not roll over those ramps! Looks like they are intended for cars etc so they don't crush the water pipe-train will just cut through them

Got home to console the gf on her recent driving escapades, lucky escape on the motorway at least. [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24][emoji24]

What happened Tom? Looks like the damage is quite isolated, which would be good, Is the damage just to the light? Hope gf's okay.

Cheers J, yes she's fine thanks. She's just upset about her car. It was around a contraflow - I don't really get what happened but it involved a LOT of cones. Broken a load of bumper clips and scuffed the bumper, creased the bonnet and dented it all over the show, scuffed the plastic trims and yep then the pricey looking xenon unit. It looks like someone has had a mallet all over the bonnet, very odd.

Hopefully nothing else ... But the bonnet is way out of line. Hopefully have it good as new again, it hasn't even had its 3rd birthday yet [emoji24][emoji24]
