Ok guys and with a little help from a friend who can weld better than me.

Basically just behind the second cats a X pipe was fitted than pipe work routed either side off the rear diff to the back to two 4" round x 12" st/steel boxes with Twin staggered slash cut tips.

Total cost was

Boxes x 2 = £70
Tips x 2 = £60
X pipe = £26
Pipe = £30
90 ' bends x 2 = £24
clamps and rubber mounts = £5

Total = £ 215 and about 8 hours off messing about

Iam so pleased with the results just sounds awesome on full throttle but not to loud when cruising and the over runs just cracks and pops if caught just right.

Will post some PICS tomorrow and a sound clip hopefully.

Off to the hindhead tunnel in the morning so carnt wait :D

Look forward to seeing the pics and hearing the results, after seeing some pics of the underside of a zed in one of the other quad threads I wondered if something like this was possible, oh decisions decisions.

It is very possible  just takes a while 8 hours to be exact. we had to relocate the fuel carbon filter and the buzzer thingy and fabricate a heat shield to go next to the battery box . We re-used part of the old system on the near side and made a new part for the off side so from underneath the pipe work is slightly different from one side to the other but the route was the same and practically the same distance . No need to move the battery there's just enough room. you could possibly go up to a 6" box but i think you would struggle to get it to fit. This was all done on the floor with just 4 car ramps

Ill try and take some pics from underneath to.

Here's a pic and video to follow once i figure it out

Great Job! probably my favorite quad setup so far
I think this may have encouraged me to go and have another chat with my exhaust guy.

Out of interest - what did you use to cut the old exhaust off?

also you said you "relocated the fuel carbon filter and the buzzer thingy" where did you move them to?
sounds better then removed them... lol

The buzzer is mounted on the right hand side under the cubby hole in the boot under the car so it was moved to a space between the bumper rail and the boot body than where the buzzer was we moved the fuel carbon box to that place . The carbon fuel filter has two moulded plastic arms for mounting we cut them off and using a large jubily clip mounted if up using one off the original studs which held on the buzzer . We tunrned the box around so the inlet pipes where facing outwards and shorterned the pipes to fit . I'll take the bumper off tonight and post a pic it will be easer to understand.
