Well you certainly seem to have picked up a cracking little motor there. I like the grey MV2s on it. Are those M badges on the wheels done in blue to match the centre caps, or is it my dodgy eyes?
Always have a wry smile when I hear people talk about the swap to RWD. For those of us who are 'so last century' RWD was the norm. I grew up with Mk1 & 2 Escorts and Capris. We always looked a bit suspiciously at Mini drivers with their strange, alien FWD set up. How things change.
But, to be frank, after all these years, and my fair share of FWD cars, I still find it much more intuitive to correct the tail stepping out on a RWD car than the weird shenanigans required to deal with these FWD things. :roll:

But I have to say, my old man being in the Sussex Police and getting me a session on their skid pan at Tangmere Airfield was a big enlightenment to me, and has probably saved me a small fortune in repairs over the years. Plus the small advantage of years in the RAF, where I could sneak out round the peri-track in the snow at weekends.
I would definitely recommend putting a few quid aside for a driving course of some sort, tailored to the handling of RWD cars. It won't be cheap, but that first little sideways moment on the open road will pay you back every penny.
So I'm only 19 and have always dreamed about owning a z4 after my dad had a 1.8l z3 and I much prefer the look of the z4 so after saving up months on end I finally had about enough for a low end z4 maybe a 2.0l se or 3.0l high mileage but I knew the insurance would be to high on the latter. After a bit of research into Engines I found out the 2.0 was only a 4 cylinder so I ruled that out and did a little research on other Engines and came across the 2.5 si which sounded perfect for me as I wanted something over 200bhp and for it to be post 2006 or face lifted I didn't want something to old and I do prefer the look of the post face lift. Trust me I would have gone for a 3.0 but I couldn't find one newer than 04 but than I came across a stunning 2006 2.5l si manual with 100k and full service history also with 8 months mot and before I tell you the asking price bare in mind this is a very rare model with only 108 being made and only 88 left. He want 3.3k for it and I saw 2.0l with more miles for more cash this was ridiculous so I just had to get it. The next day I ended up driving 4 hours to this guys house which was on a private road and he had massive gates in front of it so this was a lot more promising than previous car purchases. In the end I got 300 off and got it down to 3k. ive had it for 2 months with out a problem although the defective bulb light has come on but ive checked every light and they all work. The only thing that was suspicious was that I had to order a new log book because he failed to send off the old one
