no I don't think so, I looked a bit closer and its just a bit of dirt on that image covering the other colours. And I wish I was alive back then  to experience all those great cars but its sad to see even the new 1 series has gone to FWD and cheers for the advice I appreciate ill look into getting so practice
I wonder why, after all these years, that BMW of all the car manufacturers, have gone to FWD on the new 1 Series? Logical explanation?

The shareholders want greater dividends firstly, secondly with the demise of the i/c engine as we know it imminent, provision must be made for any future chassis to be electric. Sad but true

That looks like a nice find Josh. I remember being similarly excited when aged 19 I bought a Triumph Dolomite Sprint, that car was a performance legend but nearly broke me. Around 60% of it's moving parts were replaced in my ownership most of which were uprated for that model (expensive) before it failed the MOT with tin worm! You will be fine though, the Z4 is reliable if maintained and rust free

In the Z4 we are nannied by ABS, DTC and DSC so although you have a margin for error the laws of physics still apply  Also bear in mind that ABS and driver aids will not help on sheet ice/snow so it will be down to driver control and things can go very 180 in a RWD.

Enjoy and be safe :driving:

had no idea they existed but I feel like i should have done that after nearly losing it on a roundabout ๐Ÿ˜‚
Google skid pan training, or performance car training. It will be money well spent, plus a very enjoyable day out.
I had a complacent moment and wiped out in my mx5, i could not believe how quickly things went very wrong and ended up spinning/reversing at speed into a power pole and hedgerow - hence my earlier words of caution. Hate to see any z4 driver in the same place.

I did the same thing, went from a peugeot 306 to a mazda mx5 - thought i knew what i was doing when the back stepped out, turns out i didnt have a clue. damp roundabout, full 180, smashed the wheels into a kerb. luckily didnt hit anything else.

my advice for a first time rwd driver is a) get the best tyres you can afford, and b) keep the traction and stability control ON when on public roads. By all means have a play with the rear wheel drive in an empty car park or on a trackday/drift day/ autosolo event, but rein it in on the public roads. :driving:

Thatโ€™s a familiar look! Iโ€™ve always liked the black backs of the non-Xenon headlights, even if the actual lights themselves are rubbish. Mine came back up for sale on here (for a similarly silly price) and I was so tempted to buy it back. Had some good times. :driving:

In the end I got 300 off and got it down to 3k. ive had it for 2 months with out a problem although the defective bulb light has come on but ive checked every light and they all work. The only thing that was suspicious was that I had to order a new log book because he failed to send off the old one ๐Ÿค” anyway what do you think
Other than the wind deflector, it's difficult to see what the spec of the car is - but a very good price and it looks well in the photos.
I'm just surprised no one has commented on the point you raised above. Did you see the V5? Did you get the green slip from it? If not, and with it being a very good price, I'd be a little concerned. Maybe unnecessarily so, but concerned none the less. Did you HPI check it?
