To all Black Z4 Owners - Black or Grey?

Neither Silver

Plus it's a proper racing colour :driving:

Living as I do in France, where (from what I see) 90% of the cars on the road are in shades of grey or silver, I have to confess that grey doesn't exactly float my boat. Black does of course show the dirt, but with a car like a Z4, that is likely to be regularly cleaned and pampered, that is not a major issue. You do, of course, have Ruby and Saphire options even if you choose a Black Z4, and the subtle colour shift in certain lights is very pleasing - although if you have a scape, will probably cost more to repaint.

Black is the best of both worlds... When its clean its black and amazing.

When dirty mine turns grey.. Can be used as a daily drive

grey is just as good at getting a nice reflection.

black looks good for about 5 minutes, and then it looks crap.

When I see a grey car, I just think that he might be driving it :D

black all the way

My last 3 cars have been Sapphire Black (unintentionally) and they do look fantastic when properly cared-for. However, any minor damage can result in hugely over-reactive OCD incidents with polishing materials and/or bodyshops: so beware :o If you buy any black car with a few miles on it, it may well have seen some bodyshop action already, so beware iffy blow-over paint jobs on any car you vet

Nothing quite as satisfying as a lovely, shiny black car, though
