When do you get it?

He will change his mind 6 times between today and delivery date, I bet you a pound that he will never get it ....

Normally you'd be right. Car coming to dealer today. Deposit subject to viewing. Car ready for Weds but taking it next Sat. I'll post up pics later

Stark, in case you are worried about fingerprints on the satnav screen, you can control the screen options via the buttons as well 8)

I can picture him now and his OCD!

You can programme the buttons on the wheel to do different functions so minimal touching of the screen.

Ah Carol, this is semi flimper spec so no wheel controls :P

What are you doing with your E89 Stark? Sticking it up on here?

Ah, never mind Starkers. You'll just have to touch your screen. :)

If they look anything like the previous boxter halogens - they will still look OK unless you park it next to a xenon shining car. :-(

Glad my misery in the car front amuses you lot......I am sure it will be fine when I see it tomorrow. Forum member from here coming to see my car tomorrow after work

Touching is fine ...just worried it doesn't have Xenon lights.
Would it be difficult/impossible to ask for it to have them upgraded?

I thought this but then I thought a bit more about it.

Totally different wiring so a new loom or modifications would be required to existing loom, level sensors, different control stalk, washer system, bi-xenon units, control unit, etc.

I think the cost would be prohibitively expensive to properly fit the OE xenons.

Been advised the light bulbs can be changed as per what Angie said. So relief.....phew.

I am going to change the steering wheel....but that's not a huge deal
