Currently 8 Thundernight's out of a total of 24 LCI M40's on BMW AUC. A lot of folk seem to chop their cars in after a few months for a different BMW and therefore possibly opted for an LCI colour rather than choosing from the existing G29 palette.BigDave said:Just had a scoot through approved used BMW,s and there's 9 Thundernight M40i,s for sale,,, Seems its a marmite colour...
I realise its winter and convertibles don't normally sell well in winter...
But I'm surprised there's so many Thundernights available...

Seemingly a lot of dealer ordered their demos in Thundernight, possibly now after the 90 days they need to keep them for they’re appearing up for sale.that’s because you’ve impeccable taste :wink:Boyo said:I maybe biased but I love the colour

Just to put your mind at rest, it's a well know fact that Z4s are faster when they are SFR. Don't know why but they just are.ori said:I think it’s a stunning colour and I’ve specced one up looking at cost of change, but do I love it more than misano blue (the fastest of the colours? I’m not sure.
I haven’t seen the new blue in the flesh either. I wonder what that is like.
Spot on and that's why it appeals to me. It looks very aubergine on a dull day. Nice to have something which is interesting to look at and sometimes takes you by surprise.B21 said:The colour seems a bit like VO…the angle, the degree of sunlight and its shade affect the perception of the colour more strongly than with some other colours
