So, a 'friend' of mine was incorrectly charged on an item purchased at T3sco. £2.19 each or 2 for £3 but was charged £4.38.
So, the 'friend' went to said T3sco the next day, preparing to be told "Oh no sir, that offer doesn't exist". So went to the product label and took a photo of it, proving the offer.
'Friend' went to Customer Services to be told "It is illegal to take photos of the labels" and a telling off ensued...
It turned out the offer was for a similar but not the same product and the position of the label was in such a position as to cause confusion to the 'friend'. In fact, the CS Rep even said this was not the first complaint of the same product that day.
After the threats of legal action, they refunded £1.38 and said "Don't ever take pictures again"...
