Cool, thanks!
It's an old post but anyway, I was mearly pointing out that for as many end bearing stories there are I've seen far more threads on other forums with cars going well over 100k miles with no issues as well as opinions from garages that work on these cars day in day out. I was simply balancing the argument that appeared to be (and still appears to be for some) anyone over 60 odd k miles is sitting on a ticking time bomb which I don't believe is the case at all.
I can't explain you and your 5 friends having issues no more than you can probably explain why a sample of 5 other owners will have gone over 100k with no issues, luck of the draw? Who knows!
At the end of the day it's up to the owner to do their research and decide what's best for them, simples!
