It's my opinion (supported by others), if you don't like it, that's absolutely fine. You do you.

If you don't want to listen to another view that's also absolutely fine, but please don't be all surprised when people don't post or people get irritated and tired of these types of threads.

You’ve slated me for not liking the G29.....it’s there....in the pics, my car....!! If you don’t understand that my initial post was simply why I decided against cognac and chose red after much deliberation then I can’t help you. Forums are for discussion, that’s all this was, it’s you and your ilk that turned it stupid and insulting, not me.

And the reason I never bothered to post pics of my new car, nor had any intention to do so on here, is precisely because of these types of post from you and the other crew who have voiced utter bile over something as simple as seat colour, and a seat colour I almost chose, as a matter of discussion, but because of this thread I didn’t bother until now.

Jesus that Guidok chap even went on a mocking spree after I said the colour had changed in my opinion, then did some research and found out I was right, then didn’t have the grace to acknowledge it. If people are wondering why more people don’t post it’s because of threads like this.

I’m a relatively new member, I post a bit, but threads like this put me off. I’m just being honest. I think we all know by now that the OP doesn’t like the G29 and he’s told us this many, many times.

From the outside looking in, why would a G29 owner want to contribute to a forum that’s dominated by a few members who love to tell people how much they don’t like the car that they drive?

I personally do not see the value in threads like this. Forums don’t grow and survive just based on noise. There needs to be meaningful discussion.

This thread could have been ‘has anyone noticed that the seat colours have changed?’, but instead the OP is banging the same old drum to justify why he didn’t end up buying a car that many of us love and enjoy.

How about we change the tone here and be a bit more positive and inclusive? Or should I come onto the E89 forum and say how lucky I am that I no longer own one?

Band new 1st March, pics are at the dealers on pick up, it’s now sitting in a garage waiting for a front end PPF wrap from Beedub, ring him if you want as you clearly know so much about what I do you’ll probably not believe this is my G29.... :roll: when he’s had some time off, that’s how much I don’t like the G29. :roll: It’s got red seats....so sorry that will have triggered some of you, if you want to pay for the car I’ll put any colour seats you like in.

200 miles and love it Obs....! Keeping it garaged and clean before a PPF wrap.

Had one for a week last summer from BMW...went from Derbyshire to the south coast one day and to North Wales two days later in it, that confirmed what a superb GT car it is, hence I ordered one...
