This wasn't a facelift change, it was done before then. The amps changed from digital to analogue from memory. The first amps had optical leads.

Just browsing the for sale section now.. They are also on Ebay from £30.. Typical, but I'll always get my money back on the amp etc as they can only get rarer!

If it's not speakers then i'd be lookin at cables - there's resistance in cables. :wink:
Still a really perfect opportunity to swap in some new caps to one of the amps imo and u can also do an A-B listening test to compare seein as u'v got two identical working amps.
