Things drivers do that make you go ummm!

Drivers who stick obediently to the newly imposed 20 m.p.h. speed limit newly imposed here in Wales, and then not speed up again after they've re-entered a 30 / 40 m.p.h. stretch of road....... before another 20 m.p.h. sign appears all too soon and in most cases for no apparent reason. :x

Join the club mate - frustrating as hell

Yes I have to confess, I am one of those drivers on my recent trip to South Wales. Not knowing the area, trying to navigate, keep to the stupid 20 mph zones and my wife giving me her directions. Just kept to 20 to be on the save side.

Apologies for going slightly off topic but, Would be interesting to know if the MPG for those in Wales takes a big hit from having to drive in so many 20 mph limits

That's a good suggestion. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to contribute any useful statistics because, if there isn't one of Drakeford's yes people in front of me I will be driving in accordance with the laws set out many decades ago using what used to be called "common sense" :)

Some good stuff here

One I can’t stand: you’re on cruise at a set speed, coming up on a slower driver. You pull into the next lane to overtake, and the fecker speeds up to your speed. At some point they drop off, you move back into your previous lane. A few minutes later they come past you, pull back in right front of you aaaaand slow down again… thus engaging into an annoying game of leap-frog :headbang:

This happens a lot and, while halfwit, tempted to pay back when their turn to try overtake. Read stories on papers about drivers playing this with an unmarked police, though. So, ends up behaving in an adult way, tailgating and flashing.

Tractor drivers that don't pull over.

Good one. Same for caravans and campers, especially on single-track roads like on the NC500. Spent 10 miles behind a caravan that shouldn’t even be there according to the signs crawling along at 15-20 miles an hour, annoying every single oncomer by not using the lay-by’s :headbang:

I had a chap reversing out of his driveway onto a main A road yesterday, I slowed down to give him room and time although I don’t think he had any intention of stopping anyway, he then set off in front of me doing about 15mph (30 limit) driving straight down the centre of the road over the white line occasionally more on the opposite side at times, I could see through his rear window and his windscreen was completely frozen, the sun was low as it was around 8:15am and he obviously could hardly see anything, he had to keep swerving to the left to avoid oncoming traffic, what an absolute muppet!
I followed him for about 1/2 mile until he turned off, what is wrong with people that they can’t be bothered to clean their windscreen before driving off?
